Hi loves! Here I am, this time debuting a newer, lighter hairstyle. I was planning to have it dyed even pinker than the rosey gold hair I ended up with, but nonetheless this was the change I was craving ever since I resigned from my job. I feel light and pretty, and I can't wait to dress up!

Anyways, this was our poor attempt at pictures last Sunday. The weather was quite weird - hot one minute then pouring rain the next, while the sky remained blue as ever. Yep. Macau summer weirdness right here. I wore this pink jacket I picked up at H&M about two years ago, one of my favorite culottes, and my longtime crop top! The bralette is new though, a little something extra I picked up from Manila during my last visit. I love it! It really amped up this outfit.

There's not much to update you guys on my week, because things have been pretty quiet around here lately. I really need a break from the monotony, to be perfectly honest. Sigh. Let's see how it goes! See you all soon! - Che

Yes, I'm back on schedule! Yippee! Actually I just couldn't wait to post this newest set of photos we took around Macau for you! I think Leon and I are getting better with our pictures, which makes me so, so happy. Though, it does really take a while to get them just right.

Anyways, this outfit was a long time coming. I actually wore a similar citrus colored outfit a few months back, with a few caveats. Unfortunately it didn't work out, because the photos just came out horribly, and my face looked like it was swollen, for some reason.  So yeah, I decided not to post them. But I really loved the mix of colors - yellows, greens, and my orange-y makeup. I am loving this amazing orange makeup I've been sporting lately, made possible with an orange tint I got at Tony Moly a while ago. I finished the look with my perfect white boots, giving the look a very 60's feel - do you agree?

Anyways, things are getting quite busy nowadays, and there are so many things I want to accomplish. Like dye my hair pink, finally, now that I'm free to do so, as well as get a dental check-up. I've scheduled stuff for the next couple of days, so I guess you'll see if I do dye my hair soon.

Well, well, well, it's been a while, hasn't it? Sorry loves! I didn't get to finish this set before I had to go to Manila (again) for another quick trip. This time it was to attend the wedding of one of my closest cousins to me. We're the same age, and used to run in the same circles.

But anyway, that's for another post. Today, let me fill you in on my latest post, which is your summer outfit cheat sheet. Basically, I'll be giving you some ideas on what to wear this summer - based on recent trends, and things I've been finding myself wearing lately. The first of the bunch is my usual summer go-to - navy/white stripes. I have a few pieces in this print, which you can find here: Super Stripes, Lady of the Woods, Endless Possibilities.

Blue/White stripes are like the MVP of summer fashion in my honest opinion, and can be worn elegantly, a bit more street like this look today, or even when on vacation. For this outfit, I just added a crop top, my usual white jeans, and sneakers. A perfect outfit for walking around.

What's worse than a hot summer day when you're not swimming or somewhere with an airconditioner? It's when it's hot, humid, and annoying, and there's no sun to speak of. Like, grey as hell and still hot and sticky. Macau are you kidding me right now? The weather has been extra dark, hot, and sticky for a while now. The sun only shows up in murky intervals.

I think it's been messing with my inner chi as well, because wearing black and grey is the dreariest outfit to wear when it's grey outside, but this is what I ended up picking up to shoot with Leon using our new lens - Lens that required for him to be far enough from me for my heart to start growing fonder hahaha. Great shots right? Not my personal favorite, but I had to post them regardless! As for the look, I did try to inject some summer into it with the addition of basket pieces in the form of my clutch and earrings. Kind of a disorienting mix of pieces, but to me it just felt so right. I do wanna go all out summer 101 on my closet but maybe I'll wait until the weather eases up.

As for my week, though I've been on some downtime these past couple of days, this weekend is gonna be jam-packed. It's my sister, Katee's, birthday, and of course Mother's Day. For Katee, I think I may have overspent on her present, hahaha.. I'll let her show you on her own once she decides to on her own blog. For my mom, I gave her her go-to perfume I remember her using when I was very young - Dior Poison. I remember this being her perfume when I was in primary school. It was so nostalgic when I smelled it again.

Check out where my sister, Kate, my mom, and I went together that one day in Manila we had for free. It was a premeditated decision, but I still didn't expect how fun I was going to have. And how much sweets we would eat - I had just had some crepes and coffee a few hours prior so it was so bad for my gut when we went here and were served so much sweets over the course of two hours.

The concept is cute. There are seven rooms fitted with seven different dessert concepts. My favorites are the donut room, marshmallow room, and the cotton candy room. Unfortunately, by the time we were in the cotton candy room, I was doneeeee taking pictures - super tired of changing lightings for each room, which was my only problem with the Dessert Museum.

We even spent some money in the shop - I bought Leon a heart donut fridge magnet and love mallows hahahahaha. He rolled his eyes, but I think he's pleased. Anyways, I really recommend The Dessert Museum for all you out there with a raging sweet tooth, and all you who want a good time and a great place for photos one hot day in Manila. If you're wondering, it's located at Conrad Manila in Pasay City. You can't miss it!
