Channeling Clueless in White Boots & Blazer

Okay so I may have shown you guys a similar outfit on my Instagram, albeit with a few different pieces than what I'm currently wearing in this outfit, but the gist is ultimately the same. Ever since I could remember, I have been obsessed with teenage dramas that feature larger than life, uber fashionable highschoolers. Prep school uniforms, separates, and details that teenage me could not even begin to comprehend how to put together. Heathers, Clueless, and most recently, Gossip Girl, were some of my absolute faves and remain inspiring to me to this day.

I was, of course, your typical nerdy, awkward teen who had to learn and relearn fashion from scratch, so I could never emulate the sort of confidence and style they were showing. In some ways, I have this blog to thank for having that now. So we come full circle, as I go all out Clueless in this fit for today - well, with some Blair Waldorf in the mix, and my personal touches. As I see now this is a little too rocker-ish for Cher or Blair but I'm not such a big fan anymore of Mary Janes and pumps and would rather stick to my boots and sneakers. Oh and I wear more black. Hahaha.

Anyways, life-wise, things remain slow but hopeful. Nothing much on the agenda right now so I'll be back soon with more to talk about soon! See you lovelies! - Che
