I'M WEARING>> Sweater: Neff// Skirt and beret: H&M// Boots: Missguided
There was a moment back when I was about 4-5 years old when I was convinced - convinced - that people would look prettier with purple skin and ruby red lips. I kid you not, lovelies. For a whole month and a whole coloring book, I made every princess in the Disney princess coloring book I had have purple skin and red lips. I don't even know why I would remember something like that so vividly even now, but I do.
So when I planned out my outfit to match this purple sweater, naturally vivid red seemed like the most obvious combination. Obviously.
Anyways, here we go, our first dip into the Pantone color of 2018. I was so obviously ecstatic when purple (oh sorry, Ultraviolet) was named. The color is not something you can find many pieces of when it's not on trend. I have been on the lookout for a violent violet coat since Gigi Hadid wore something similar back in 2016 but to no avail, so I had to settle for a matte lippie I picked up at Colourpop (see me in that lippie color here). A few easy tops here and there - and now I have extended that repertoire to this sweater, a t-shirt, a beanie, and sunglasses. OMG I really need an off-switch. This sweater was the lucky find of the month, dug from under a mountain of puffy jackets while my friend, Ivan, and I thrift shopped. It was 30MOP. I then paired it with this kilt I got back in summer, and my reddest boots, hat, and lips. Because I am nothing if not thorough.
I wore this outfit specifically for these photos here today, followed by a coffee session with my sisters and some stationery shopping. An easy Saturday, if you will.
Sunday is bound to be as equally pleasant. Hopefully.
What do you think of this combination? Yes? No? WTF go back to the drawing board, Che? As always, let me know! See you soon darlings! - Che
