Still This Coat

This coat. As of today it's almost three years old, and still perfect. I still remember when I bought it. It wasn't my first choice. Actually, I wanted the navy version, but it sold out in my size, and only this color was left. All for the best though, because I have worn this on so many streetstyle, fashion looks already, and it's still a classic color today.

Anyways, Macau's weather dipped this last week, meaning my closet is in full use. So many new pieces to show you! I have been buying jackets all summer - now imma wear them all, bwahahaha.

On this blog, we have discussed my outfits at long, long - unhealthy, some might say - lengths. We have talked about my favorite coats, shoes, and bags (brownie points to readers who still know, haha). But looking back, I realized that there was one part of the outfit we have not covered, and those are intimates. More specifically, the bra. Hi darlings! Long time no see. I was getting jittery haha. I'm trying to work around my current schedule to get you lovelies more posts, but let's see how it goes.

Anyways, the weekend. We had a great one, thank you for asking. Sunny skies, cool enough for this dusky pink 3/4 sleeve sweater I saw while browsing the stands at H&M a month back. It's an amazing piece that I cannot wait to add to more fashion and streetstyle posts. We had just come back from watching a movie, and well, the shop is right in front of the elevators to the car park! Haha. We went to the annual Macao Foodfest - big mistake, seeing how it was packed to the brim with people and I got a tummy ache from whatever it was I chose to eat. Still. Local food is love.

Then there's this insane bag! My gosh, how I love it. So different. The strap is removable so I'm planning to attach it to some other bags I have, tee hee. Let's see how that goes. This bag was courtesy of the lovely people from Zaful, which has some pretty mouth-watering pieces! I recommend them to pieces, darlings. Really good quality items. Can't wait to show you the shoes I chose in action.

Granny's Drapes

Hi darlings! Okay, so today I stole granny's velvet drapes and fashioned them into this dress. Haha. Nope, it's Zalora. Not the most exciting of origins but hey, ain't this dress all sorts of great? It's velvet, and shiny, and florals in the most non-floral way. I love it! I wanted a 70's streetstyle look (of course) that didn't scream too much 70's, hence the bomber jacket - keeping this look firmly in the modern world, and thigh highs. Not so sure it was cold enough for this outfit, but I couldn't help it.

Outfits scream out to me, you know.

Anyways, I was having a very illuminating discussion with my friend just the other day. I asked her what she thought would be people's first impression of me. You know what she said? She said people probably thought I was aloof. I have resting bitch face, apparently.

She laughed when I said I always thought people first thought I was nice. Hahaha, who knew?

For the record, if you ever see me on the street, come up and say hi. I'm nice. Haha, I won't bite. Disregard the bitch face, I probably just didn't have enough coffee that morning.

No, when I was planning this outfit, I did not plan on channeling the dead-eyed, creepy, Indiana Jones-wannabe Dora, who my sister insisted we watch and talk to every time it was on television when she was four. Haha. If you have a little sister who demanded you watch Dora with her 100 times, raise your hands. As you can see Dora still haunts me to this day.

Anyways, this was a throw it and go outfit I wore to go for a long walk with Leon this Saturday. We are due for a weekend R&R session anyway. It was fun and relaxing, just walking, snapping shots, and Pokemon Go-ing. Since I woke up with snarled ends and impossible hair, it was tied in my usual high braid - not a french braid because believe it or not I don't know how.

We walked along the seaside just outside the main beach here in little Macau, watched the waves roll against the rock. Sigh. It was blissful. The rest of the weekend basically went the same way, topping it off with an Ang Lee movie, 'Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk', in Zhuhai. Thought-provoking. I'm ready for another week!

Leather Weather

Not sweater, but leather, weather. I cannot stress just how elated I am for the chill. It came out of nowhere. One minute I was sweating in a thin trench, then now I'm shivering in a leather jacket. Hmm, I'm not complaining. I'm actually really, really pleased with the weather right now. If this keeps up, then I'll be able to introduce a few more pieces I've been keeping for a chilly day soon.

Tee hee, so leather. For me, the most comfortable fabric for times in a pinch. I have been salivating over this amazing jacket for almost half a year, always in my basket, but not until two months back did I finally cave. Perfect - cropped, embellished shoulders, sighhhh, I'm in love.

I'm finally having a bit of a lull lately. Just cruising through November at this point. But the holidays are just around the corner, and you know how I get when Christmas comes around! Basically a loon randomly spurting off carols almost nonstop. Tee hee.

Layered Cake

Hi darlings! Long time no see. Oh my gosh has it been half a month and it's now November? Yep. I'm so sorry dears. There's no excuse. Just busy, so, so busy. And halfway through the month my inspiration plummeted to almost nonexistent levels. I couldn't decide what to wear, nothing was looking good...sigh.

But I'm back! And at the very least I'm wishing for November to be my comeback into this. No, I haven't abandoned you, tee hee, but the breather was good. I feel like I'm in a good headspace.

Anyways, this outfit. A mishmash of everything and not much at all. Perfect weekend look, and a debut to this amazing nude sock booties. I've had these for a couple of months now, but the material is just too hot for summer. But now that it's getting at least a little chillier, you can expect these to grace my blog oh, maybe once a week! Hahaha. Just more R&R with Leon, grabbing a quick bite, and getting some much-needed shuteye. I'm itching for an adventure! Grrr, Macau is too small, but it's home.
