So how do you make a cowboy fit for 2016? I guess you throw a current trend like athleisure to top it all off first. Hehe. If you're me anyways.

The cold has returned to the little place I like to call home, so we're back to thick coats and thick knits, or if your me, two jackets, haha. This fashion month's street style and layering techniques have really been firing up my creative juices. It seems like I just wanna pile everything up and try everything new. How long it will last, I don't know. This coat, it's from my sister. She's obsessed with Korean fashion, so she snapped this coat up immediately. But, in the end she didn't like how it fit, so she gave it to me. That was probably the first time one of my sisters gave me clothes, instead of the other way around, haha.

Life has been smooth sailing lately, just work, gym, eat, sleep, and chill. I haven't got much to report, this week, but let's see. It's almost the weekend again, so maybe I'll see you then, tee hee. Have a great Friday where you are, my loves! - Che

90's Bombshell

Nope, I'm no bombshell, but that's what never ceases to amuse me with fashion - you can be whoever you want whenever you want. Am I right, or am I right?

Anyways, I'm not proud of it, but on this day, I had a breakdown. Haha. I left my denim jacket in China, at Leon's hometown, and I had this whole other outfit planned for this pretty skirt. But, in the end, you just suck it in, and it did ultimately brought you this outfit - which I do find amazingly cool! This vintage leather jacket is just amazing. Maybe next time I can show you my original outfit, hehe.

Spring Cleaning

When I was just starting out high school, I was a chubby girl with frizzy hair and no sense of style whatsoever (yep, late bloomer right here). But one of the things I remember quite fondly was my signature necklace. Everyone had a signature necklace in high school. For others it was the thin gold chain with their name, a charm, etc. But I just fell so completely head over heels with the main character in my favorite movie that time - The Legend of Zorro, haha. I remembered Catherine Zeta-Jones had that thin, black ribbon around her neck. I so wanted one, so I cut up a leather ribbon, and put a big, fake black opal charm I picked up on the street (the street, people!), and voila! Choker. I wore that thing for three years haha.

I may not have been a fashionable teen, but 14-year old me knew what she was doing. This choker number is the same - it's an I.D. holder I cut and then tied around my neck. Hehe.

Anyways, this is the OOTD. It was raining. I think you would notice from the pictures. But nope. We're not talking about the depressing weather today. Instead, oh yeah, I went spring cleaning in my closet. I haven't done it in a while, but I just could not fathom how I had nothing to wear in the morning, and all those clothes! Guess what, I don't even miss whatever I gave away. And my sisters had a field day! Many of the things I gave away, they found cool and new again, so I know my clothes will be well-loved. Leon and I just got made a custom-built closet. No, it's not walk-in, nor very big, but I got to pick what materials, what kind of storage, the works. Exciting right!? Maybe then I can show you some pictures of Le Casa Li =) Tee hee. As always, tell me your thoughts! See you!

Think Pink

This coat was given to me by the nice people at NewChic, along with the plunging body suit I wore a few weeks back. In all honesty, I didn't know it would be this pink...hehe, hoping for more of a muted tone. But I'm not complaining. I can't wait to wear this with spring essentials.

Anyways, Macau, being typically Macau, has the weirdest weather nowadays. On Sunday, it was warm, so warm that I was in a backless jumpsuit with a light jacket, and then the very next day, we were back to 10°C. I swear I was ranting about it the whole day, since I was under-dressed. But on this day, I was a little more ready, with my heat tech Uniqlo mock neck and OTK boots. Oh and this blanket scarf. I swear I would not have survived winter - I bring it everywhere!

Valentines' Day was okay, but then again it hasn't been solely the day of love for a while, since we also celebrate my youngest sister's birthday on the same day. But we got to watch Deadpool - which was awesome!

Blush Crush

Ah finally, my version of a groutfit.

These cool culottes, they're from Uniqlo. For some reason, when I go on my short shopping spree, I almost always never go to Uniqlo. I don't even know why, since when I do go there, I always find something I really like. However, when I hit Leon's hometown, then I always end up in Uniqlo - since it is the only brand I like in their mall there. I was in there for a very specific purpose this time - just to get something red for CNY (which ended up being the red turtleneck I wore in the last post), but...well, I saw these, hehe, and a perfect sleeveless knit in olive green, oh, and these same pants shape in denim. Needless to say I left with more than I expected to buy, and a hole in my wallet where my CNY allowance was. Worth it. The bag is from my sister, Kate - check out her blog: http://www.kateeotd.blogspot.com. It was her present to me during Christmas. Hehe. This is the first time I wore it.

Oh and Adidas Superstars. They're finally mine! I mulled over buying these for almost two months, always adding to cart and then cancelling. I didn't cancel this time, and I am so happy!

Anyways, Happy Valentines' Day! Leon and I just plan to celebrate the day of hearts with family, since V-Day coincides with my youngest sister's birthday. I don't really know what I'm gonna wear yet, but let's see.

Whew, CNY is officially over. Up there you can see the outfit I finally ended up wearing to the shindigs (sans beanie) which I thought was appropriate enough, but no. I still ended up changing my skirt into a pair of skinnies I suddenly had to buy last-minute in the end.

Olive & Off-Whites

Happy CNY from the Li's. We might not get to share sticky rice cakes and tea, but I can share with you this latest set of pictures Leon and I took in his hometown. Finally, an amazing spot for outfits that we can go to again and again. Mostly because it's like a little ghost town - amazing infrastructures but not much people, and there's a spot for pictures everywhere we turn. Tee hee.

My love of military green is back with a vengeance with this bomber coat. I have been obsessing over getting that perfect zipped jacket in green, but to no success. Who knew it was actually a longer length I was looking for? Even I didn't know, though I may still get a shorter iteration. I wore it with my not-so-white, no-so-beige pieces, which, if you have followed me for a while, is how I wore my first green jacket, hehe...if it ain't broke, don't fix it. I will still be on holiday mode until later this week, so I'm planning to just chill...and of course take a picture, or 200. Haha. That's my weekend so far, how was yours?

Newchic | Criss-Cross

I was scrolling through Newchic, not really finding that "special" piece. Then I saw this body. I've always wanted one, but I guess you can see from the pictures - I'm not exactly the body-type this kind of piece was made for. I couldn't get it out of my mind tho. In the end, nothing else was registering to me, so I gave in. You would not believe my delight when it came and I realizd that it fit beautifully - exactly how I wanted it to fit! Oh and if you were wondering about how to go to the washroom in this - let's just say it's like a romper in that respect.

Anyway, I am physically trying to get myself out of my rut again. My first thought for this body was to dress it down, of course, with jeans, my leather jacket, and flats, but that's how all my outfits have been going lately - though I can do that next time right? So I literally moved my hands to this 60's style geoprint skirt and camel coat instead, dressing up the body. I think it looked fine. Not so out there as I thought it would be.

Sunday went by so fast. It came, I shopped, then it was gone. The sun never showed up again, and my cold came back. But I do have some pretty good pieces shopped at amazingly cheap prices for the next couple of days, but for today, goodnight... my eyes are drooping off as I write.

Chinese New Year is coming soon, and maybe I can get some festive pictures up on this blog for the year of the Monkey. You never know...till next time!
