I am just waiting for Macau to reach some semblance of fall before I wear these booties to death. We are experiencing a bit of a heatwave these days, though, it is much colder at night. Leon and I try to get as much time as possible to scout for new locations to take pictures in, and I think we found a new keeper. This place is so super far from civilisation, but it's beautiful, ain't it?

Macau has been quiet. Too quiet. I can't wait for November, and hopefully we get more autumn soon. Oh, so many plans...sigh. I'll keep this short for now.

Black & White

When I'm in a time-crunch, I go straight back to my basic. No one can ever go wrong with black and white. So, here's another black and white outfit from me again. Being the crazy multi-tasker, procrastinator extraordinaire that I am (Sarcasm*) I decided to skip a free day of picture taking and proceeded to stress myself crazy to get dressed, get pictured and then go to work this past, busy Monday morning.

I love these white culottes, they are so flowy and super pretty to wear. Ooh, and my equally pretty lace camisole. I'm trying to impose fall onto the still hot, summery Macao. Why, my dear home, why? While everyone else has started to layer, wear coats and all that, ugh, I have to take my jacket off when I'm outdoors to stop sweating like a barn animal.

Hopefully fall is coming soon. Then we can really start the fun of dressing.

Pleats Galore

Now this is more of a weekend look. I was having a bit of a weather crisis. It's too hot, but all I can think about are fall/winter outfits. This look went through a lot of iterations - a leather jacket, flannel around the waist, maybe a bandana around my neck blah blah blah, but in the end it was too hot to over-complicate things. So this is it. Since the look was quite clean, I wanted the background to be clean too. I love clean shots like this.

The weekend went by so fast. Too fast. But good news is there's always another one next week right? Let's see if I could do something fun next week? Maybe. Who knows?

I love menswear, there's something so sexy about a girl in a full tailored suit - not that I'm saying that this outfit was meant to be sexy, because it wasn't. Instead, I just liked this color palette together - navy and orange brown. Ooh and the cool oxfords. I bought these amazing black and white loafers from Zalora again. The monk strap, fringing and color palette is just perfection! I've been wearing them everyday and posting about them incessantly on Instagram (@styleche, if you wanna check it out).

Funnily enough this was a weekend look. A day of lounging around the house, coffee dates and a good Thai lunch. My weekdays have been so stressful and busy that I just want to do nothing and hide in my covers on the weekends. But, life is so much more than that right? Sometimes we just have to get our butt out of bed and live. I've been questioning my life choices recently, and I feel like I should be doing more, much much more. How do you do more? How does anyone do more?

Sigh. But, yeah, the weekend is just going by perfectly.

H&M | Gypsy Dress

I always love to receive new goodies to try on courtesy of H&M because it's just so great to see what new trends will come on the shelves for the next seasons. But I think they were especially psychic when they sent this to me, since this package came just one day before I was to meet Leon at his hometown in China. On that day the weather was just shitty, wet and cold as hell, but strangely enough I was extremely happy.

I love this dress. I know I've said it many times that I've never been much of a dress person, but I'm really in love with this dress. It's just the perfect mix of flirty, boho and still fall-appropriate. I wore it with my latest pair of over-the-knee boots, because I've always wanted a pair with a heel. This outfit was perfect for the day of coffee shops and hiding from the rain in furniture malls Leon and I basically planned for the day. Now, if the sun could just come out and play, we'd be having the perfect weather.

Tokyo Travel Diary

We've come to the end of my Japan trip photos, which is always a very sad moment for me. Another trip becomes a distant memory, something that seems unreal. But we should always look to the future. I am already dreaming about my next trip. Who knows where we'll end up next month, or next year?

Japan has been an absolute pleasure for Leon and me. Everything was perfect - the weather, the vibe, the fashion! Tokyo day 2, we spent getting in as much of Tokyo as possible. It started with breakfast at the amazing Gate Hotel Asakusa. All those morning views from my Instagram? Yep, from there. I totally recommend this hotel. The staff are stellar and that view is unbelievable. Then we just walked, took the subway from one place to another. The weather was perfect, as it was our entire trip, even if all the weather forecasts predicted heavy rain and typhoons. I couldn't help wear this amazing flannel duster I bought the day before at Harajuku, such a great addition to my wardrobe. The look I was going for was really a modern city look. We went to the famous Shibuya crossing, and well, crossed hehe...definitely one for the bucket list!

So many memories to keep. But so many exciting things happening in my future! So stay tuned for my next outfit post, back on my home turf, soon =) - Che

Tokyo Shopping

Shopping in Tokyo is every bit as amazing as you'd think. Again, we didn't have so much time, so we were very specific on which locations to go for a quick shopping fix. So many places I missed - Shinjuku, half of Shibuya, Roppongi, blah blah blah...but one place I simply could not miss was Harajuku, of course. I went there not so much for the shopping, but more for the street style, the vibe. Oh darlings, it is everything I knew it would be, and more. Even if Leon and I weren't there to shop, we couldn't help it, there was just too much good stuff. I went on a bender, getting black leather Stans Smiths, a long duster coat and a fur coat from an outdoor thrift stall. Yep. Weird purchases for a traveler on a budget...but, so worth it! Don't feel bad for Leon, as he got himself a cool pair of cork Nikes, and some awesome reflective sunnies hahahaha...my boy is turning into me in the shopping department. The verdict? You should definitely visit Harajuku, but be very selective with what you buy because your money will definitely fly out of your wallet if you're not careful! Also, it is crowded as hell, but pick a spot, sit and just people-watch. The outfits are amazing.

Also up on our list? Akihabara, the otaku and anime shopping district. I finally tried a maid cafe!, which was definitely one for the bucket list. Also I bought some of the souvenirs requested by my sisters - a complete "Attack on Titans" costume set and "One piece" collectible figurines. You should have seen their faces.

Anyways, there's only one post left of my amazing trip to Japan. Hope you tune in, and what do you think of my outfit, by the way? I had to step up my outfit game in Tokyo, tee hee. - Che
