Yippee! An outfit post, finally. The weather has been dismal and I've been overnight for too long. But I'm back, and in my default black, white and red color palette. I just think you can't go wrong with these three colors together. For today, it's my culottes again, which I wore during the H&M preview a few weeks back...wow that seems so long ago now. This time I wanted my look to be a little preppy as opposed to the tough vibe I was doing then. 

Culottes are one of those pieces I always knew would look good on me even when they weren't trendy yet. I had a pair, but it was too long. Do you know how hard it is to find something out of trend? Very hard. Sigh, at least if you want it in an affordable price. But they're so worth the wait because I might not post in on the blog all the time, but I wear them almost every week. So much so that I think I need to get more options.

Also in this outfit, another amazing bling from Topps Collection. It's a cool necklace, isn't it? I love my statement necklaces - which for sure y'all already know. Hi darlings, how was your weekend? Mine started out pretty awesomely, climaxed and then ended on a really sour note. These photos were taken on a pretty amazing day. Leon and I were off together (finally) and we were pretty set just mucking around for the entire day. We deserve it. Whew. So, a big lunch, which, if you've been following my Instagram, it's always a big lunch. Then day simple day of errands, family time, and social drinks with the family. I decided to wear something super laid-back, with my trusted pointy flats and another pair of trouser leggings from Uniqlo. At this rate I want every color.

Did you tell your daddies how much you loved them today? For Father's Day, Leon decided to throw a barbecue at our place - which has private cabanas for that very purpose. Well, what do you know - Macau's weather reared its ugly head and decided that typhoon level rain was in order for the afternoon. Nope we didn't get to do our barbecue. Also, I realized that there are still blatant racists in this world, right in my backyard but I don't feel like elaborating right now. Nope, nothing went right. But I got to tell my dad I loved him, and we bonded over "The Walking Dead" as one does. So, how did your weekend go? Discuss! - Che

Macau is not usually an early-bird-gets-the-worm kind of place but you wouldn't have guessed that if you were at the H&M Macau grand opening. Music blaring, everyone cheering, and the palpable excitement in the area, you know this is a big event that everyone is glad to celebrate. People have been lining up since the day before. We were up and ready to go at 9:30a.m, I was running on caffeine and adrenaline. The ribbon was cut at 10am and then, presto! Lines upon lines upon lines of people (which, if you ever see how small Macau is, you will know how surprising that is) were rushing into the store to get their fashion fix. A lot of amazing items, finally within reach. Woo hoo, I don't have to travel for 2 hours just to get to an H&M, never again! Of course, another excitement was that David Beckham was going to come by and check out the store. Yep, music, shopping, and David Beckham - H&M...where else?

H&M is opening its first store in Macau! After the amazing day I had in HK a few weeks back, the great people at H&M sent us some pretty stuff to style on our blogs, in time for the opening. Due to me being bigger than most other bloggers, sample sizes are always scary, so I went for more accessories than clothing - except for the amazing jumpsuit in the first set. There were some amazing pieces in the summer collection, which I recommend you have a look at before they're all gone.

I decided to have a very on-trend 70's vibe for these sets. So the three looks have codenames actually - "Glam 70's" "Alexa Chung 70's" and "Modern 70's" H&M always has cool, trendy pieces so it wasn't hard to find those right pieces. For "Glam 70's" the jumpsuit was a very glam piece, and I decided that I didn't need any accessories. I amped up the boho vibe with a straw clutch and my cool platforms, bought ages ago.

The "Alexa Chung 70's" is called so because I was so inspired by the recent AG by Alexa Chung collection. I mean, who did not want a button-front skirt after that, right? I even DIY'ed a ribbon choker out of an old swimsuit string. Oh the things we do for an outfit.

Finally my third look, which my mom is very fond of, is the "Modern 70's" set. I bought these flares when I was in HK, and I remember being very quiet, reaching for them with some sweat dripping down my head, not quite believing my luck finding a pair like this for a price like this in H&M. Yes, they're a bit long, but nothing tailoring can't fix.

Whew, finally a post for you today. It's been a while, hasn't it? Well, I'm not very time-savvy, and I honestly cannot believe how some people can just fit everything they need to do in a mere 24 hours. But I've survived this far being me, so I'm doing something right. In all the years I've been posting for you, I think I've mentioned many times that I'm more of a seperates girl. But now I understand the need to have a few good dress choices. This is one of those dresses. Big florals and a straight t-shirt fit, just the comfiest thing I have ever had the pleasure of wearing. 

I wore it with simple sandals and a straw clutch for a day of errands, then changed into booties and a statement necklace for dinner and drinks at night. So fxxking versatile.

I recently realized how much I loved having people over at my house. I buy wine, make snacks, salad, cocktails and then bring them home later. Is that a sign of growing up? I never thought I'd like it. Wasn't my style. My friends still tell stories of my drunken escapades of yesteryear. Having one too many tequila shots in high heels. But nope nope, now it's about great wine, good food and great conversations with amazing friends. No drunkness involved. If you're ever in Macau, call me. We'll have a great conversation while having some yum yum wine.

Hi darlings! How are you? I've been trying to keep my posts a little diverse lately, and what better way to give you more content than another collaboration with my BFF and makeup artist extraordinaire, IvanRui? He's this amazing person whose goal in life is to make people feel beautiful. I felt pretty fantastic in these photos, and I know my other friend/model, Ana, felt it too.

We decided to do both sides of the spectrum, classic, and batshit insane. Hahahaa...no, more like a modern, on-point look. I was very specific though, I wanted the MAC 'Heroine' lipstick, because of my frustration of it being sold out when I was trying to get my hands on a stick. With my long, snarly curls and deep-set eye makeup, it looked quite freaky in a good way right?

Once in a while it's great to feel like a different person. Makeup should be fun that way. So what do you think of my amazing friend?
