Finally! Once again, HK Fashion Week is upon us. It has become sort of a ritual, and for me, a chance to live out one of my wildest fantasies, which is as a fashion person - in amazing clothes, with shows to watch, and wine to sip while canoodling with other fashion people. This is something you don't get to feel very often in your everyday life. I mean, how many chances will you get to play high-fashion dress up right?
While I wasn't able to go to the preview last year, this year I am in full attendance, from start to finish. With Joana and my makeup artist friend, Ivan (he did my makeup in this post), we arrived in Hong Kong with minutes to spare. After allowing a taxi to get us hopelessly lost, we found these two sweet girls to help us get into the right direction. Lunch was plate service at the fancy El Cid Restaurant (super delicious!) - a full course meal, no less.
HK is pretty on-point with its trends each season, and 2015 is no different. There's the sport, black and white, the pop art prints, couture and ready-to-wear. I am so looking forward to so many shows - such as the always street-savvy I.T, Zalora, oh, and Shanghai Tang! Yep - this year's big show. So many things to look forward to, and I cannot wait to share them with you - so stay tuned! Which one of the above are you excited for? See you soon - Che
