Super Street
Top and Necklace: Forever 21// Jumper: River Island// Boots: Asos// Bag: Nessa
This is probably one of the streetiest streetstyle looks I have worn on this blog. You know how those sports bras are now en vogue? Well, I found this version of it in sweater form, complete with the mens' brief garter. It was so cute when I found it that I couldn't resist. Since most of my shoes are still in storage, I only have a finite number (four, to be exact) to choose from. So, voila, that's how I completed this look with my over-the-knee boots.
So, outfit aside, today I've been thinking about job interviews. For me, little is more nerve-wracking, more sweat-inducing, than a job interview. You are there to beg for a job, but not look too desperate. You're supposed to stand out in a crowd of homogenous, suit-wearing fresh graduates in a group interview where you have around 10 to 15 minutes. 15 minutes to tell them why you, in your suit and briefcase, are the one for the job. Oh and don't even get me started on interviews in Macao. Basically, most jobs are more interested in your fluency in Chinese rather than anything special about you.
On the other hand, I wonder about the ones choosing. How hard it must be to sit and comb through hundreds of candidates a day, all homogenous at first glance. It isn't exactly the best case scenario as well. Sigh...life is complicated. How many of you feel the same? I think it's safe to say that the majority of those who have work hate interviews as well right? See you soon - Che
