Hi Sweeties! I have so much to talk about this time around, so let's start, shall we? First things first, I'd like to get this out of the way - I'm planning to take a short respite from blogging. Just for the next two weeks or so. While I don't plan to stop altogether, I do need a break. It seems that lately, my heart has not been in it. I'm frustrated, without inspiration, and getting more erratic by the day. It has stopped being fun and inspirational (though it's not all on my blog, just my life in general). So, a few days to get my bearings back - and hopefully I'll return with even better content for you.

A short introduction to my biker chic outfit, which, as you may have noticed is a literal kind of biker (and not the vroom vroom motorcycle cool girl kind). Yep, Leon and I went on a short biking trip just around the area. We were sweaty and hot by the end of it. I managed to scrape my knee, bruise my inner leg and almost run into a car. Oh happy days, hahahah! This easy breezy outfit was perfect - dungarees and a very summer 2014-appropriate muscle shirt with minimal accessories for kicks. Tee hee. I felt great FYI, though I usually don't like showing my flabby arms (gotta hit the gym!)

I love unhealthy potato snacks -  chips and fries. When I was on diet, this was the only unhealthy thing I did not stop eating. Chocolates? Gone. Cola? Gone. But not potato chips.

My goal in life is to own my own business. I've always wanted an events firm or be a designer and have my own brand =)

I watched Captain America 2 drunk...hahaha...needless to say I was even more insufferable than usual. I kept taking off the 3D glasses, complaining that I couldn't see anything, and complaining about the movie

I am a mega-geek, always have been. I love kaiju movies - I was first in line for Godzilla my goodness - superheroes, anime, popular fiction. I read so many books -  encyclopedia and parts of the dictionary included.

My favorite TV series are Sherlock, Castle, Modern Family, House of Cards, and Breaking Bad.

My favorite pastime is lazing around, doing nothing. I could do this for hours. I'm not proud, but what can you do?


I am so excited about getting engaged (and soon-to-be-married) and can't wait to move to our new place. I never thought I would ever tell you these words. Marriage has always been scary and a big taboo for me. Just not a path I thought I would go on. But now that it's here - well, girls, I am one happy cookie!

So here's a look for you, sweeties. As you might already know, white is the color of the year for me. I could wear white in probably a dozen different combinations and it will still end up looking good. Case in point - this time it's a simple tee (my sister's) and my really old but well-loved crochet shorts. The fact that these shorts are only around 5 USD and I have worn them this much, it makes me very happy. Money well-spent IMHO.

Anyways, I was inspired by the upcoming summer season and the rare sunshine occurence we had. Now we're back to dark skies...but one day...that's enough for the time being. I feel like this looks like a sort of 'back-to-school' look...but maybe without the stilettos, right? Oh yes, these stilettos, I have just bought one of the most common blogger shoes out there at the moment (who wouldn't love Alexander Wang?) and I am beyond happy. Low-heeled enough to walk in, but extremely sexy. Oui, J'adore!

I've been running crazy with errands lately...the most important of which is getting a Chinese name for my I.D. I have just been dubbed 'Tse Yi Na' tee hee...funny but cool right? I think it sounds pretty. Summer is coming soon enough...can't wait to start on activities...biking, swimming, hiking, whatever, I'm ready! What are your summer plans sweeties? A belated Happy Mother's Day to your lovely moms, grandmas, and aunts, sweeties! So last Sunday, it wasn't just mother's day in the family, it was also my sister's 20th birthday. And how do you celebrate being 20? Why, go to an amusement park of course! Hehehe. Since it was gonna be a long day and the weather was really bad, well, I kept the outfit simple. Joggers and a white tee - a blazer for warmth.

Sunday didn't make it very easy though. We woke up to a dark, dreary, rainy day. I left my I.D. at home so we missed our ferry, and my sister left her Instax camera on the ferry when we got to HK. It wasn't raining when we got to Hong Kong, but the skies were so dark you'd expect it to rain any minute. We were really hoping for a miracle, and I shit you not sweeties - it happened. It remained relatively rain-less most of the time we were in the park. Only upon closing time did it start raining, when we were on our way out anyway. So we got to ride everything. Being a crazy thrill-freak, well, we rode everything twice for good measure.

After a gruelling long day, we made our way down to Wan Chai to have Thai food - the same restaurant Me, Joana, Mr. Penguin and Leon were in during Fashion Week. Seriously, this is the first time in months I've had time to spend the whole day with family, and I love it. It seems like I have to try harder to spend time with them. We used to do everything all the time. And that is the end of my Sunday Funday with my family. Enjoy the pictures! - Che

A short update for today sweeties. It's been dreary in Macau lately, like super dark and rainy. I haven't been able to take anything, so, hence, one from my archives of maybe-I'll-post-these-someday pictures. I wasn't entirely sure I wanted these out because, well, I don't find them my outfit that nice here, but maybe you'll disagree.

Anyways, I took these on my way to work because there simply wasn't any time. Just had enough time to pick up whatever this is I came up with. Hehehe...Sigh...I feel like, once again, I've lost my mojo. Just no inspiration these past few days, and now that it's back, well...the rain is too strong to do anything. But good news is...I'm back in the zone and there will be many new ideas soon =)

My sister's birthday is coming up, and we're planning a short family trip. I haven't had one in ages. I am psyched. Now if the weather would just cooperate, everything will be peachy, so something to wait for! See you soon - Che

I know, I know, Coachella is way gone. But what I told you last time stuck with me. I don't want to wait till I'm almost 29 to get there. I wanna get there faster, maybe next year. 

It's funny sweeties...a few years ago I was a go-person. I loved that. I realized that travel did not immediately mean big amounts of moolah and so I traveled easily - Taiwan, Bali, Kuala Lumpur. You'd think that I'd be even more willing to travel now that I'm working, but no. Now I always have an excuse to say no, especially about travelling long-haul - next time, soon enough. I understand that we get more responsible as we get older, but we also get more fear and more to lose. I feel like that's when we lose our mojo. Well, I refuse to lose my mojo sweeties. Let's see where this plan of mine takes me. Coachella 2015. Let's see.

Anyways, here's another coachella-esque outfit for the day. I bought a tube maxi skirt and it's perfect! Matched perfectly with my camo jacket and jewel bag. I love it! Felt so free walking to work, and then some makeup shopping with my friend, and finally a quick dinner with yum yum vietnamese noodles - all while it's raining! Yep, comfy comfy.

Happy 1st of May lovelies! In Macau that is the official start of the summer season and between two of us, I can already feel the heat. Anyways, there was the lips, hearts, butterflies and tigers, but I think this year is the year of the pineapple print. Ain't these shorts super cute? What's cuter than pink pineapples right? This is one of only two things I bought this month. Save mode has officially started, so no more big shopping hauls. Besides, summer is not my favorite season when it comes to fashion. Almost always,I don't find anything worth buying. So yeah, gonna save it all for my upcoming vacations instead :) I paired the shorts with my usual basics - black and denim. A bit street, but still me at the same time, my fave kind of outfit.

I wore this outfit to work, and then to catch 'The Amazing Spiderman 2' in the cinema. I guess you've already noticed that I'm a bit of a superhero geek. Really. But, even as a movie though, I would recommend this. It's good sweeties, consider it for your date night! You won't regret.
