Flannel shirts and I have a love-hate relationship. For me, they are too boxy, and I suppose it's because of the material (or my less than slender physique), but I could never pull off a slouchy look a la the grunge 90's. But I do so want them to work, because I love the vibe so much - so when I saw this flannel shirt while browsing through ASOS some days ago, well, let's just say my creativity set in once I realized that no matter how much I loved the shirt, I would never buy it. So using my three-year old, barely used flannel shirt and a little snip and cut here and there...voila!- here is the final result!
Ah summer, you can't hide from it. So Leon and I decided to make the most of the situation via these hazy lazy shots. I must say, the end product looks amazing! - but that's just me. After this shoot, we watched 'Man of Steel' in the cinema. While it's not perfect, I must say it was not bad as far as Superman goes. Henry Cavill was hot, who's with me!? Hehehe =) Anyways, Happy 4th of July to those who celebrate it! Hope you enjoy the festivities, till next time - Che
I think you can work the flannel just fine! I love this grungy casual look. Perfect job balancing it out with skinny jeans and pairing it with leopard creepers. I love it!
