Tee hee...my good news! This sweet pup we named Castle - yes, after the TV show. Believe me, it could have been much worse...the names Peewee, Psst, and some korean pop star name was also considered. This was the best we could come up with, but no complaints. 

Me and my sisters, I think we love him so much! He was born in a construction site with six other brothers and sisters. They lived in the field, and the trash, yes I know, so poor. Of the six, we got this one, a sweet little pup who looked the most like his his handsome father. It's been a hard couple of weeks, but we're getting by. Hehe...yes I attempted to take pictures, but it wasn't very successful. Still, Leon managed to get this sweet shot of me petting him (not staged, for once). Anyways, I just wanted to tell you all about him =) Have a great weekend! - Che

Nothing screams summer like a tiny crochet top. It would look perfect with those careless cutoffs and a sun hat, but I'm saving that for the summer holidays. Right now I wanted something more day appropriate (haha, as if!). Just another day of heat, work and not much to report. Well, I do have a funny story. I was half asleep when the house phone rang, my BFF and my two sisters were both in the house with me...so I answered the phone and you know what I say? 'Hello this is Chezka speaking, how may I help you?' My mom on the other line laughed. So did everyone in the room. Seriously, when you job starts leaking into your personal life that's when you know you need a vacation! 

Oh there is one other little ray of good news in my life right now, but I want to introduce him properly =) So next time, sweeties - Che

Ah, the Splash! party at Hard Rock Macau, one of the better parties I've attended in a while =) It didn't matter that there was no sun (actually it was a bit drizzly), or that I was too conscious in my swimsuit to move very much...with Leon and these two crazy gal pals of mine - and a lot of help from drinks - we managed to make it a very fun afternoon.

I didn't want to go at first, it was my day off and I needed some down time. But my day-offs are starting to look all the same...I sleep, I eat, I take pictures, then I sleep some more. It can get boring after a while...so a party at four in the afternoon was a nice break from the norm, keep things interesting! We just sat on the fake beach, drank some vodka lime (at first), and then took a dip when we couldn't sit no more. We also watched a live game of beach volleyball, made good use of the floating bar, and sat and talked and watched the other party goers.

There is something magical about the light around sunset. It's soft, difficult to deal with, but so worth it when you get it right. For me, it's the magic light - that perfect moment to take pictures. Damn, you wouldn't believe how many times Carla and I tried to reach that perfect timing, but it's not that simple.

For this post, I just went with my normal, everyday clothes. Yes, I know I'm overdressed for summer, but remember gals, Macau is Asia's Las Vegas, every hotel has their airconditioning to the coldest 24/7.   And besides, I wanted to wear this vest again. I love how tough denim can immediately set the tone for the outfit. It makes one look cool, even though she knows she's not, and she's wearing neon. Haha! 

My outfit looks complicated right? But things paired with florals in acidic shades usually are. If it were a white tee or black tee, then this would be a basic, basic outfit. This tee I bought in China. It's dirt cheap, but I hope it doesn't look it. I'm really proud of it actually because it was in a back pile and I had to dig through clothes upon clothes to find it. You don't usually see florals in these colors!

Anyways, we started our day early. He had just come back from overnight shift, I woke up extra early to meet him. We decided on lunch next to the water, but what I didn't count on was how hot it actually was. Like, my face is melting hot! Tempers flared up, I had to put makeup around three times, we couldn't find any pretty spot with enough shade for photos...until this little alley.

But Leon and I, we always pull through. We took pictures, got some yogurt and cheesecake, and called it a day. Hmmm....I swear I've never been this lazy till I met him =) Sigh...I can't wait for my holiday...can't wait! See you soon - Che

We spent the day eating, drinking coffee, a little shopping of course. Mmmm...I love dim sum. It's a breakfast/overnight supper food. They're steamed and fried stuff in little portions that you eat slowly, while having tea. Oh yes, very Chinese. And very good. Ooh, chinese food, I like!

Everything is cheap here, even the totally awesome coffee at my fave coffee shop with all that layers and stuff, gosh, it took that bartender thirty minutes to make our two drinks...Leon was impatient, but I told him to wait for it. It's worth the wait because it's so pretty =)

I bought some stuff, but I won't be making a separate post about it...they will just come here naturally - a little hint? Hats! So see you soon - Che
