Happy Easter lovelies! Hope you had a great time looking for Easter eggs and enjoying some quality time with family. Anyways, here's the outfit of the day. This tee? It's not mine. One of my sister's friends lent it to me about three years ago and then I totally forgot. And I think he did too. So one day I'm looking for something to wear for a night out with the girls and guess what I see? This oversized tee. Perfect for cropping - which is exactly what I did. I only remembered it wasn't mine after I cut it. Do you agree with this grunge look I made with it??

On other things, here's something I've been wanting to rant about for a long time now. My lack of posing skills. There are girls out there who pose like a pro - a little jut of the hip and hand over the eye and suddenly it all looks right. But me, being the queen of awkward, I find it so hard to look right. And posing is so crucial to blogging! A good pose can enhance everything good in the outfit, and hide everything you don't want the world to see. I don't really know how to improve on something so...subjective. Do any of you feel this way? Or are there any tips you could share with me?? I waste tons of time taking photos just to end up with an unsatisfyingly weird batch (which I most likely don't post). I would really love to know what you think, my darling readers! Till next time,

Notice anything similar sweeties? Yep, I used the same two pieces from my older post "Almost Famous" in this outfit. I know it is sort of blasphemous, but let's face it - a denim shirt and leather shorts always make the perfect basic pieces for showing off great outerwear. The vintage cardigan is my mom's...another vintage piece.I love it - it looks so quaint!

Anyways...I wore this outfit to work - which is why I am in makeup mode - but then I had to leave my shoes behind and wear my work flats on my way home instead. Eight hours standing at work? It would feel so much worse if  I used my heels afterwards!  I didn't go home straight tho because Leon asked if I wanted to watch a movie called 'Olympus has Fallen' with him. Of course I agreed (especially because Nachos were involved =), and we ended up getting home at  four in the morning! I don't wanna be a major spoiler so I will just say that if hostaged president/vigilante cop stories are your thing, then this movie is for you. It's basically 'Die Hard in the White House'...Great action though.

Hi sweeties! I know, long time no see. It's been a crazy week...and I literally had no time for anything else but my job. Whew, glad that's over...I'm done with the training schedule (which started too early to take photos and ended just when the sun went down) and now I have a shift where photos won't be a problem again, so expect more shots next week sweeties.

Anyways, now that it's warmer, I think it's gonna be the last time I'm wearing my jackets, so maybe one last outfit with all of them one at a time. Starting with this varsity jacket...I'm so glad the trend continued, but even if it didn't this would still be one of favorite jackets. I love that it matched the walls of this place, which is an actual school. Just a spring-y outfit with bright orange and leopard. Hope you sweeties enjoyed your weekend, see you soon,

Nowadays, summery hot weather seems inevitable. Yes, I suppose there's still spring, but between us sweeties, I think I've run pastels and florals to the ground. This hot season, I want punchy brights and showstopping prints. Oh yes, zany cartoons, aztecs and the whole hurrah! I can't wait to find some great pieces to add to my closet =) Shoes-wise? I want white shoes. I have so many black shoes now, so I want those pretty white shoes that get dirty with every step (that will probably make me sad), especially these ASOS espadrilles....they're in my saved items already, haha. Here's a simple outfit because I'm simply out of ideas. Yeah......rut. I don't really know what to wear nowadays because of so many reasons, the number one reason being loss of creativity. So here's another unform style of outfit I always seem to go for - shorts + blazer.

Okay, here the gist for today: the weather is a liar. It makes you complacent with all the sunshine, brings your guard down, and then proceeds to freeze you off when you least expect it. This was supposed to be my introduction to spring shoot, but instead I was under dressed and shivering (I do have a blazer with me, but it hardly helped) - and that's it for the weather report of the day.

Now, to brighter, happier things...I quit my previous job (yes, the one I just got into three weeks ago) and now have a new one - with Carla. It suited me more, and I had to make a choice. As for now it seems like it is going to go well. This day was actually my day 1. Leon picked me up, treated me to dinner in Spaghetti House, coffee at Starbucks, and 'Side Effects', a movie. He said it's to celebrate my new job, the sweet boy. Seriously I love him more and more each day =) Okay, I'll stop cooing about my boy now, see you soon,

Hear me out on this sweeties, it's not everyday a good companion retires. If you follow my posts closely, then you must know my standby black bag from some no name shop around Macau. It's in almost all my outfits, so much so that sometimes I have to put it down behind the scenes so you don't think I'm getting too attached to it and never wear any other bag.

Well, it finally gave way. So I had to scramble for a replacement with little enhancements - roomier, better lock, softer material, etc. Well, I found it, in ASOS, no less. It's from a brand called New Look, and it is everything I wanted. I can already see the relationship we will have: abused but well-loved. And to my go-to bag of 2012, goodbye =)

I cannot stress how much I love this skort. Leon bought it for me in Taiwan, and it's mint! I've never been a good trend follower so for me, mint is still a great color and if I find more pretty mint pieces, then they will be in my wardrobe, haha, ever the spendaholic. I think it certainly brightened up this all-black ensemble. And of course there's the orange beanie, which I adore to bits - who doesn't like pompoms on their stuff??

So, as I said, it's cold again. Time for a coat, boots, and a sweater with feathers on it =) yes, isn't it cool?? My aunt bought it for me last christmas, and I love it. Perfect slouchy fit, feathers, black, warm...perfect noh? Now my black bear sweater can have a day off! Anyways, I wore this outfit to go watch a movie - Movie 43, I think it was (bad movie, but has its moments) and then get dinner with Leon... I think we've got the standby date down. Maybe next time we'll go bowling instead, haha, till next time,
