Oh gosh, I'm so sorry for how icky I look in this post. It was my first time doing morning shift at my job, which started at 6:45 a.m. I got up at 5 a.m, went back to sleep, woke up again at 5:45, panicked, got coffee, ran to the bus stop and then ran to the staff entrance. After all that I still got there at 6:46 a.m. Shoot me now!

This is why I ended up looking like this. Ugh. Just the first things I could grab, like my favorite sparkly sweater, a coat from the dresser, and Docs. I love my morning shift - since I get to go home really early, but waking up at five in the morning is not a perk. Anyways, I will see you soon lovelies, working never ends =)

Yesterday, I had an epiphany. I was working again, and things were once again getting hard for my blog, since I will usually have no time to take shots. It was time to decide whether to go on, or stop. But I already gave up on this blog once, and I really wanted to go on...hence...these were taken at 7 a.m., five hours before my shift started, and one hour before Leon's. I think I'm becoming really good at lightning fast shoots, and this one was no different as it took all of fifteen minutes.

I love it when two subdued colors like olive green and burgundy red get together, the navajo eagle shirt just made it more fun! Anyways, since I am writing this at 8 a.m., I'm gonna go back to bed now, so see you soon,

Here's another vintage score. My mom recently brought home a big box of clothes from her friend, who was doing spring-cleaning. These were barely worn, hidden in the storage for a long time. I only got two things, this coat, and a cool leather belt with gold studs...very nice! Too bad the weather's been too hot for this coat, but I was on my way to work, and by the time I clocked out, the temperature had cooled down. Yep, compromise! How can I not wear this coat? I think it's awesome.

Work is great, but it seems as if I haven't gotten used to it yet. It's been hard to take photos, because between Leon's schedule and now mine...haiiii...it's either I get up an hour earlier, or vice versa. But we'll figure it out eventually. One really great thing about work is my schedule!

Today, I'm wearing some of my basic stuff, my old jacket with the military buttons, shiny sweater, and Docs, perfect for a day out for some present shopping and coffee (yes, coffee is a very important part of my day). Oh, I forgot to tell you guys "Belated Happy Chinese New Year!" It's not something I celebrate - though Leon does - but it does affect my everyday life. Everything is closed, and I get a lot of red pockets. Yeah, in Chinese culture, it's lucky for married couple to give out red pockets so you could just imagine...haha!

Ok, so my news: I got a new job starting tomorrow =) Yes, it took a while because I wanted to celebrate my new freedom from school for as long as possible, but it's time for a new challenge now. This is actually why I kept forgetting to post after the valentines' post, because there was too much I had to prepare for. So if posting becomes less, I'm so sorry in advance. Anyways, I may not like the summer heat, but taking photos during sunset is one of the best times for lovely natural lighting. It's so hard to catch this light, but when you do, it's all worth it! Happy >advanced< Valentine's Day, sweeties! I posted this today because tomorrow, I won't just be celebrating the day of love, but my youngest sister's birthday as well. So I'll be busy making birthday banners, baking cakes, and keeping the little kids invited in line. Unfortunately, Leon won't be here then, but we made plans to have our little celebration today =) Don't worry, I'll post pictures. 

Would you believe it if I told you I used to hate the holiday?? Oh yes, I thought it was the big companies' way of manipulating people into buying usually non-important trinkets like cards and candy. But lately I realized that if we wanted to, it could also be one day we could celebrate love openly. Hehe...corny much? I know. It doesn't hurt that the year before, Leon did the sweetest thing anyone's ever done - he showed up at my house with homemade (which he made himself) heart chocolates and a bouquet of red roses, while I gave him a Starbucks stainless steel tumbler (yes yes, I know, but he wanted one)

I planned this shoot a few days in advance, with a different setting and prop in mind. Actually I really wanted to buy a single helium heart balloon and take shots on a staircase, but Leon and I never got the time...hence...improvise! I took this near my house, in a deserted wood and the gardens. This bright red flower made for a great prop. So, how do you plan to spend your Valentine's?? Call me shallow but I am a big Starbucks fan. Actually, I try to get to a Starbucks in every country I've visited, haha, just to test if they really are all the same. The cheapest one so far was in Kuala Lumpur and Philippines, and one of the priciest ones was in Bali. My gosh, for a person who only started drinking coffee at 19 years old, I drink too much of it now. Anyways, I was intrigued by this new Starbucks - which was yellow, because Starbucks is always green - and I took pictures to show you =) My usual coffee is Caramel Macchiato, what's yours??

Anyways, I took these photos at different times in the day, first while grabbing a quick coffee, and then before watching a movie. As you might notice, it's cold again, and rainy, time to break out my standby coat, flannel and boots. A very comfy outfit, and winter-proof. Hi sweeties! So here's a new >> short << post. After a week of bright sunshine and summery weather (which I missed because of my flu), it's become cold again...so...layers! I decided to wear one of my dad's oldest shirts, this vintage paisley print shirt, with cutoffs and leather, for a shoot with Leon.

After which, I took some photos again. I've always known my island was a concrete jungle, but I guess it showed even more in my photos. I was so proud of them so, hence, here they are =) Yep, that's Leon at the bus stop, and my street. I've only just realized how much I actually like taking photos, so don't be surprised if there are more here soon,
