One thing I promised myself to do more often? Show you some of my candid funny faces shots. In all my photos my face looks exactly the same, and you won't ever see those shots where I trip on my shoes, get icked out by a cockroach, or just look stupidly on while talking, thinking or whatever. So here is one from this shoot - the cold weather can really bring out the ugly faces in you! Hahaha

What's warmer than one jacket? Well, two jackets of course. I had a migraine this day, but I went to church all the same. When I found out that it was actually very cold, I wore two jackets because I seriously didn't know what to wear. It kept me quite warm throughout.

Anyways, can't you believe that a few days from now it will be 2013? An advanced Happy New Year to you guys - my next post will be from the next year,

Oxblood Suit

Today was just another day. It was so very windy and there was no sun at all. It was hard choosing pictures because most of my shots didn't have my face in it. My unruly hair covered it in almost half of them! But I still took photos anyway. So, here's a coat I've been dying to show you. It's vintage, and I think it was my gramdma's. I think she left it here after one of her short trips to Macau. How lucky is it that I found it right now when burgundy is a big trend?

I was trying to pair it with all the tops and bottoms I had in my closet, finding an outfit to complement it - and that's when I saw these burgundy shorts I sort of forgot about since I bought and posted them. They looked really good together, like a suit. Needless to say the result satisfied me =) The neon tee was a great contrast.

Anyways, now that Christmas is over, I've been directing my attention to my New Year's Resolutions for next year. Nothing like a fresh good start. I'll see you soon sweeties!

Little Blue Riding Hood

Belated Merry Christmas lovelies! I don't know about you, but I love Christmas, mainly because I like spending time with family and friends - and I love presents. Yes, it's shallow but I looooove opening presents, always eager to find out what the surprise is.

Anyways, here's my Christmas OOTD: the blue cape is from my parents, who are the best in the world. I was going to wear something else, but this piece just kept calling out to me, whispering "wear me, wear me"...so...I wore it for this girlish look.

The best present I got this year, though? From my one and only Leon. He gave me new lenses for my camera, which I tried out for this post. Verdict: Great! Thanks babe. Damn, It's Cold!

It's hot, it's cold, like a Katy Perry song, and I promised myself I will try not to talk about the weather anymore. Now, actually, it's very cold...it was hard getting my face right in most of these shots! I actually had to wear the glasses to keep the cold wind off, and I was shivering the whole time. Whew, at least I scraped enough shots for this post.

So, here are the first of the new skinnies - the burgundy ones. I'm having a hard time picking out outfits that won't have them in it - they are so versatile! I thought they would look good with my printed coat for the day (plus three layers underneath), along with my ever-faithful Dr. Martens. Like I said in the previous post, I credit the find all to Carla. All my skinnies will probably be shown in succession sometime on this blog, so stay tuned! Hey everyone - a short haul post for today. Aside from buying presents for all my family members, I also got to get some things for myself - hence this kind of post, which hasn't been seen here for a while. It's like early christmas! Oh, the skinnies (other than the leopard print ones), I credit the find all to Carla - that's what's great about having blogging buddies =)

I just wrapped all our presents. Not just mine, but everyone else's too. I love wrapping things for some reason. And here's a little preview of our tree - which is six years old this year. Can't wait to show you loves all the outfits I will be wearing with these new goodies, so till next time!

I promise I will show you the twinkly lights and Christmas cheer here in my tiny city sometime soon, but for now, here's a different kind of festive feeling. I don't know about you guys, but for me, red and green paired together will always look like dressing up for the holiday season. You know, just like yellow/black will always look like a bee, and red/blue is always superman. But heck, it's December, so why not look like santa's helper for a day right?

I have to admit it does make me awfully cheery, or maybe I'm just glad I bought all my presents - including a little something(s) for myself! Haha! How's your week doing lovelies? Hope you're having a great one,

Neon Leopard

Finally, I got to use these new leopard print jeans I have been keeping in my closet. They are comfy and just the right versatile shade, but the fit from the knee and lower is a bit of a let-down. I bought them one size too big for me, and now they don't seem like the skinny jeans I actually wanted, but no matter, it is not a lost cause!

So, here's me and Leon experimenting with another camera - this time his friend's Canon EOS. The pictures are very clear, and the colors are bright and pigmented. He'll be holding on to it for another couple of days so we'll be using it for a while longer - what do you think lovelies?

Le Cozy

I think I am going through a sloppy phase, all I want to wear nowadays are my cozy knits, hence why I now have them in almost every color. Perfect lazy day item! On this particular day, I slept at around 6 a.m and then woke up again for church at 9 a.m, so you can imagine the autopilot mode I was in when I was dressing up. I always wanted to try the knee socks over tights trend (it's an old trend, but why not right?) so here we are =) It was perfect timing because it kept the outfit from becoming too plain Jane.

I'm sorry I have been MIA a bit more recently, but I am trying to find my creativity right now (haha, I know, I sound so zen). Doesn't mean I'm stopping posting - so I'll see you soon, hope you get those presents sorted out!

P.S. Oh, I promised myself I would tell you about this, just for laughs. Have you ever been so concentrated on something that you do something extremely stupid? Well, I was brushing my teeth while working up a post in my head. The toothpaste tasted funny, but since I was in the zone, I didn't notice. When I was about to rinse my mouth I saw it - my facial wash next to my hand. I had been brushing my teeth with my facial wash! I felt so stupid (haha) and couldn't stop laughing at myself! Have you ever experienced this?? Let me know ;)

Pocket Full of Sunshine

Not my best shoot location ever, but there was sunshine, lots of it, so I couldn't help it. Can you believe that just a few weeks ago I was complaining about the sun, and now I welcome it? Well, the difference is that now, I can wear jackets...haha! I'm always this indecisive, so sometimes one should just let me be when I yap on about something I like or do not like. Anyways...when I was picking out this outfit, I was thinking of the movie 'Easy A' (have you watched it yet? It's a good watch!) so I started humming that catchy song in the movie over and over again, hence the title. But the bright flowery skirt is a good depiction of a pocket of sunshine, right? Wore this outfit to go do some of my long overdue errands, and grab a quick lunch with Leon in a local eatery around this area.

Oh, this place is called Cunha, also known as Food Street. Our eatery was a little walk-up restaurant that sold spaghetti with steak, eggs and sausages (in one plate). Yummy! Gotta run now, I have to get my hair trimmed, till next time sweeties!
