All Layered Up

The weather's a fickle thing - and that's it for the weather report I seem to have on here post after post..hehe.. =) Anyways, I finally got to wear a layered up look again, my go-to look last winter when I would just pick up the first things I find in my closet and bundle them together (and then hope for the best..oh yes, those were lazy times). The slouchy cardigan was my dad's, and is the comfiest piece of garment I own, and the boots were my everyday boots before Doc Martens came along and swooped me away. But they are still nice and comfy, and have this broke-in leather, military look I absolutely love.

Oh, before you ask, yes, these are prescription glasses. I wear them from time to time, especially during movies, because I keep squinting if something is too far away. My bad eyesight came along because I kept trying to read in the dark at a young age. Just a little tidbit about me...I guess I wore them today because they were something I always wore and it felt authentic. For today, though, I just went for a short walk with Leon, ate a little and then spent the rest of his free hours watching 'The Lorax' at my place, and then went back out again after a few hours to see the Food Fest with my family.
