Nothing Bright Today

This look is mom-approved - my mom said it was one of my best outfits yet, very 'professional' looking, but how a slouchy tee passed off as professional I never knew! Anyways, I recently raided my closet and found that I have too many statement pieces and not enough basics - well, who would buy a basic tee if you could buy a shiny, colorful, one of a kind trendy piece instead right? Am I right or am I right? But this skirt, luckily, is a bit of both, as it is work in front and party at the back. Oh and it sure is comfy! I bought another cool basic item but it's more suitable for a colder day than what the day permitted

For the outfit, I thought I'd go with dark, neutral colors for the day, rather than my usual brights. Just wanted to play it up I guess, change my look a bit, though I was tempted to use my bright red bag for this look (the bag I brought along instead was the basic black bag I always used). 

You'll definitely see more of this skirt - and dark colors - soon. So till then, sweeties,
