It really mimics my life and moods right now. My life nowadays is low-key, taking it a day at a time, spending my days on casual jobs and a new fervor for job-hunting, and just staying at home or out with some friends. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm also itching for something productive to do with my time, but as of now I'm enjoying it - How's your lives doing sweeties? I know...I've worn four orange outfits this month already, and I feel like I'm in a rut again, it sucks. But there's a reason for this orange outfit today! Upon returning to Macao from China, I found a slip waiting for me at home, telling me that I received a package, and my name was spelled Chesko Cenon. I was like, huh? But I went to the post office anyway. It took me about thirty minutes to convince them that I was Chezka, not Chesko. Finally they gave the package to me and I ripped it open in excitement - and then I saw it, it wasn't the burnt orange color I actually ordered, I mean, isn't it darker here? My mind went through many possibilities, should I return it? Complain? Dye it myself? In the end I tried it on and it fit so well, and my sisters kept complimenting me on what a great piece it was! So much so that I decided that I loved it in coral anyways (and damn, it's such a flattering piece of clothing, score :)! I am considering bleaching the top part though to create a two-tone effect, but for now, it's just an idea!

Not the most innovative outfit (a rut! I'm telling you), but I wanted the sweater to have the centerpiece. So, more outfits with this sweater soon - hope you enjoyed your weekends,

Instead of talking about the depressing heatwave Macao is experiencing in the middle of October, well, today let's just focus on the colors of autumn, which I decided to pile on for this outfit, featuring Leon's present (thank you Mr. L) from a few weeks ago during my Le Cong trip. Yes, it's the slouchy printed cardigan from Uniqlo, which, in its thinness, still made me sweat buckets. It's the perfect fall piece, in my opinion. Another great news that is not the weather? My new vintage bag <<I just contradicted myself>> which, you wouldn't believe, I traded with my housekeeper for a bag I never used anymore, just like in the old times before currency was invented, haha! Talk about my luckiest score ever, I never thought she would actually agree when I said ' I love your bag so much I'll trade for it' - and there, I'm happier already! 

Took these pictures with Carla, after which we had an intense badminton session which left my limbs like jelly. But it was fun and healthy, yes, healthy - and happy! Depression gone for another day. And that's it sweeties, thanks for listening to my constant ramblings, see you soon,

Pictures I completely forgot about, that just about summed up my summer. I just thought I'd give you (and myself) one last glimpse =) These are from two separate occasions, one was from the beach in Taiwan, which were taken with Leon's underwater film camera, and the others from a pool in Macao, where I got to go with my sisters + boys. This is probably one of the only reasons I like summer, it makes for some very good memories.

Here's a quick photo shoot I did with my sister before I went out for a coffee with some friends... I just wanted to show a little something I raided from my dad's closet - a vintage silk shirt from his early ballroom days (hahaha!) The pastel shades were so cute. Worn with thrifted yellow shorts, my Pull&Bear boots, a leopard bracelet from Cebu, and my new bow necklace.

Sometimes, all black is still the best way to go if you're pressed for time, or, if you're like me, just lazy. I got this dress, or long top?, from Carla Violet's shop (Yes, I'm one of their loyal customers). I thought I'd take it out for a spin (plus shorts underneath) for a walk around with Leon a few days before we went off to China. Of course we took pictures - finally! - at one of the scenic spots I always wanted to shoot at. 

All-black was a sort of uniform for me once upon a time. During my less than fashionable high school days, my classmates used to call me the 'goth' girl. Now, I was not goth, but since I was a fat kid, black seemed like the best option at the time, oh, and it was my friends at the time's influence as well. But all-black, I realized, can be very stylish, or, at the very least, polished...yes, I think I looked pretty polished, you know, ready for anything and that sort of thing. Hi sweeties, here's another photo fest from me =) We went for a day trip at the city centre of Foshan, which, as Leon pointed out, was called Zumiao. We just walked around, ate a couple of times throughout the day, and, finally, watched a relatively unknown movie with ten minutes of Bruce Willis in it - 'The Cold Light of Day'. Yes, the photos above of the cinema are not photoshopped, we were the only ones in there watching that movie, which was so funny that we had to take photos!

But anyways, let me tell you about the title...for the first time in my life, my packing method - the procrastination packing method - worked against me. I didn't notice it at first, but upon unpacking I realized that I had brought the weirdest mix of clothing ever. For five days, three of the items I brought were all orange, plus two dresses that fit me all wrong and random bottoms...and the two most decent looks I could come up with are these two looks I posted...which, unfortunately, also makes it seem that I'm related to the annoying orange. It's not all bad though, I got a new little something from Uniqlo and some new, pretty stuff from the local shopping street to make up for it - they'll be shown here in a couple of days!

I'm a bit sad to be back in Macao, even more so because Leon is still in his hometown...but I really had so much fun. Regular posting back soon, sweeties!

Hello, so here's a little thing I've been meaning to share with you lovelies: I've been staying in Le Cong (Fo Shan, China) since last Friday! Leon's parents invited me to stay over for a couple of days with them. This was the first time that I've felt totally immersed in Chinese culture. It was a culture shock, believe me, though I've lived in Macao all my life.  But Le Cong is a nice, easy living sort of place, their main import being furniture. And there's a lot of furniture - malls and malls of it.

One thing that particularly alarmed me was that there was no Blogger and Facebook, though Leon found a way around it for me after a few days. I had to get my sister to post my last post for me, as I couldn't, and it was making me so anxious...I can't stay calm if I don't check my blog at least once a day!

Anyways, this is the lazy Sunday outfit I wore when we checked out the Furniture City - worn with my own DIY'ed oxfords, last shown here. There's nothing special about the outfit except that it was comfortable for the long walk. We checked furniture we might never buy for hours...haha, making ideas for an indefinite future home I suppose, but it was fun =) I'll still be here for a couple more days so maybe one more post about Leon's hometown coming up soon. Till then sweeties, and thank you so much to everyone who congratulated Carla and me for the graduation post, I really appreciate it
