I think I've said it quite a few times that I'm not a sneakers girl. I do have a few pairs - three to be exact - but they are barely worn, gathering dust in my closet. Don't get me wrong I love sneakers (especially this season's Isabel Marant wedged ones) , but I could never justify buying them because I think they make me look too short, and my calves too big. I actually bought these ones when I was still working for AJ Hackett (see my old post about it here), where cool footwear was like an unofficial culture. My colleagues (many of which were my age) had sneakers in every color of the rainbow. There were neon Nikes, printed Bapes, and baby blue Vans. After I stopped working there I stopped wearing these, but they were once my favorite pair of shoes. And since the sporty trend is in, I decided, well, why not unearth them again? They're still as comfy as I remember!

Oh yes, I do feel like a boy today! Maybe it's because of the fact that all the clothes I'm wearing - except the shoes and the bag - are guy's clothing. Yes believe me. The shirt is a sale item from the Pull and Bear men's section. I think guy t-shirts fit better than girls' tees, maybe because they're looser, especially around the middle section, and longer - perfect for those slouchy days. I fell in love with the vintage 'Bowie' print as well. The pants are Leon's (but believe me he never wears it with the cuffs up, no matter how much I ask), and the hat was my gay friend's, before I relieved him of it. 

This style is actually a very common street look for guys in Macau, except they usually pair it with combat boots/Pathfinders, or sneakers in a vast array of colors and prints. I've been wanting to emulate it for a while now, but I guess I only got around to it now. Hope you liked the glimpse into the local street style, sweeties! I would've gone all sartorialist on random, stylish people a long time ago, but I'm not that confident of what their response would be! Anyways, see you soon,

P.S. Oh, I couldn't end this post without mentioning my new shoes, these boots were a lucky find - almost 90 percent off because they were the last pair, one size (my size, swoon!), I love them! They're comfy for walking, and I love the buckles =) Expect more posts with these shoes, sweeties, because I plan to wear them to death

Okay, so maybe I was a little too excited when I claimed that fall had come early. It is cooler to an extent, yes, but it's not exactly fall yet, which is too bad, because I've started stocking up on sweaters already (excited much? Oh yes.). Now they'll have to wait in the confines of my closet for a little while longer. This sweater, though, was an exception. It's very thin so don't worry, I'm not dying of heatstroke in these photos. Went for a color block outfit that matched my new boxy bag - so it's kinda like double color-blocking, right? Got to shoot with my blogging buddy, Carla Violet (see blog here), again after all this time - I'll leave her to tell about her outfit for the day. I miss shooting with her a lot. Really hope we're going to do this again!

Okay, it's not Style.Che's anniversary yet. But, remember all those times I mentioned my monthsary here on my page? Well, lovelies, I am happy to share with you that, recently, we celebrated our first anniversary. I cannot possibly tell you how happy I am, though it was sort of a bittersweet event. We stayed overnight and the entire next day in Zhuhai, where we spent the day eating, chilling out and shopping around. He also gave me the most awesome present(s), which is why I will be posting another new stuff post soon (I know, can't believe it either), haha! here's a little rundown photo fest below:

Here's what I wore for my birthday a few days ago. I was so very happy that day, everyone in my life making it one of the best days of the year! But today what I want to talk about is my awesome birthday surprise from the most awesome parents in the world, a shopping spree. What really gets me is that I never really thought my parents approved of my blog. They want me focused on my future seriously. So yeah, when they told me to get some nice things for my blog, it made me tear up a bit...hehe...I would probably show you these new purchases soon. But for now I gotta run, so I'll see you soon

Actually, I am not really in a position to go shopping right now. After my -very- long stint travelling to different places, I am beyond broke, relying on my parttime job for shopping money, which isn't very much since I usually want almost everything pretty in sight =) But, here I am again with a new stuff post. Okay, the truth is I've been thrifting again, going to places I used to frequent before for my shopping needs. And, today is my birthday, hence, some presents from very loved people!

So here is my rather short (but intense) new haul:

These are old shots I completely forgot about until yesterday. How could I forget these? I remember posing for them because Leon got his hands on some new lenses and he wanted to try them out. As you can see, my hair was still black in these photos - and it's going to be black again soon! boohoo...I so miss ombre hair already.

Anyways - red, red, red! Such a special color. Very weird choice of title, I think, but fitting. This lava print dress is one of my favorite dresses, since it has a cute peplum that hides my less than flat stomach. I also love that it's a very loud piece, I mean, don't your eyes just pop staring at it? Dresses are so perfect for the weather we're having right now, ugh! And they say September is the start of fall. For such a RED dress, I thought a coral red bag and red lips would just match perfectly, and I must say I like the result, very red...haha, I keep saying that word. Yes, I decree that's the word of the week! Hope you like this look lovelies, see you soon,

Hello sweeties! Sorry for the backlog of posts, I've been quite busy this week - between my time at the gym (learning dances with my girlfriends) and a freelance job, I haven't had time to shoot, but rest assured I will post a brand new outfit post soon! Some articles of clothing make dressing up oh so easy. Case in point, this slouchy, rust colored top I picked up in Forever 21, which makes everything so casual for daytime, eventhough, if you look closely, I actually wore enough shiny items to make me a human disco ball from the waist down . I wore this outfit for a casual day out, eating and hanging around the town.

I was up just the night before till the wee hours because I went on a night-out with some of my friends, one of which was my highschool bestie who now currently lives in the Philippines. We had so much fun! But I ended up with a big wound at the back of my foot from my shoes. Since Leon thought I was such a childish person, he bought me kiddie band-aids for the wound..hahaha, very funny, Leon. I'm currently just chilling around but there will be more to post in the near future =) Keep coming back, sweeties, see you soon,

Just what the doctor ordered for fall! Beautiful Lita lookalikes with dangerously sharp spikes and studs that has, actually, already hurt my fingers while I was trying to remove them. I can't wait to style the dozens of outfits that are in my head right now. Can you imagine how much I'll be wearing them these --ber months?

That's something to look forward to lovelies! I am excited already!
