Notice anything new sweeties? Yep yep, I finally got the ombre hair like I wanted! Originally, I wanted to go for a bright platinum blond but my hairdresser advised me to take this warm blond shade, which he said matched my skin tone more - and I tend to listen to the hairdresser. The verdict? Oh I love it, but it will take some getting used to. It does look a bit dark in these photos, but it's actually glaring in real life.

Anyways, since the weather went from rainy to stifling heat in all of one day, today is another loose fitting, heat-resistant outfit, consisting of jeans and a top, oh, and some new shoes I am so addicted to, which I why I have been wearing them with almost everything lately. They are even going with me to my upcoming trip (that's how obsessed I am)! The nude roses top is an old purchase which I have barely worn but really like - how could you not like such a piece?

Being the hyper-excited person I usually am, I already done packing for the trip (sorry ladies, no pics this time) and we leave on August 1st. So my next post will be from there -

Yes, pouring! A signal no.9 storm came down on Macao a few days ago and it hasn't stopped raining since. This, of course, makes it hard to shoot outfits but I'm not going to let a little rain stop me, will you? Nevertheless, I was soaked afterwards!

These photos were taken with the new family DSLR, a Nikon 5100, which Leon and I tested out for future shoots. It took great photos, but I still think Leon's Sony hybrid camera is easier to use. Just point and shoot! I might buy my own in a few months. 

Anyways, my parents just told me that aside from Manila, we'll be going to Cebu and probably Baguio as well, excited? Yes I am! The wedding plans are going on nicely. I am now DIY'ing a sign book for them. There will be a pro photographer there so I'll be able to share them all with you =) So many exciting things, but for now stay tuned for more outfit posts featuring a very wet, soggy me, and that's it -

Well, this is it! My first outfit featuring my new crochet shoes! This outfit was what I wore to church last Sunday. As you can see it was an outburst of crochet - the top is from ValleyGirl, but I bought it in the same surplus shop as all the others. It added a little sweetness to the tough blazer and shorts right?

Anyways, I'm just taking it slow until I will have to be in the Philippines. I - and funnily enough, my parents, sisters and Leon - are so addicted to the TV show Castle right now. We have all four seasons, and I have been watching nonstop! Nothing much else except I still don't know what to pack for the trip, but like in Taiwan, I will give you a sneak peek when it's ready =) Oh yes, I have some fun news... What I Wear (link here) made me one of their favorites for the July 9th newsletter! The photo is below. And they also asked me to contribute an article for the same newsletter, which will be featuring soon! Needless to say I am so happy and grateful, thank you to the nice people at What I Wear!

While Leon and I were browsing the shops a few days ago, I saw these delicious crochet shoes and I could not pass them up! They are so pretty and girly, and the heel actually is quite steady and comfy to walk in. The front part pinches really hard though, so I'll have to break in them with a couple more wears. Okay enough of me, here are more shots of my new shoes =)

Monthsaries (and the anniversary) are usually jam-packed events for Leon and me, especially this month since next month I will be in the Philippines. So we decided to make it extra special with presents, a dinner and Directors' Club seats for our next movie - The Dark Knight Rises, no less. It was worth every penny! The seats were massive sofas with adjustable footrests, we got bottomless popcorn and drinks, oh, and if we wanted more, we could just press a button, amazing! The movie was so good, I thought Bane was a scary, misunderstood villain, and the whole thing just put me on the edge of my seat - definitely must-watch, girls

Anyways, for the day, I wore shorts that I DIYed recently, they started out as a diy-dye job that I successfully botched up, but I didn't have in my heart to throw, so adding some cloth from another failed project (the aztec shirt, which I have kept for about three years now), I made my own dip-dye, aztec shorts!

Even after trying my hardest to avoid turning into a sweat-sodden mess, I still did! But fortunately, Leon surprised me with a Batman-print tee, and I bought him a denim shirt :) Really fitting outfit for the movie, eh? I looked like such a Batman-geek!

So, since everything has been confirmed, I guess I better say where I'm off to next, via the only way I know - my clothes! Haha! Can you figure it out? Very stars and stripes but with yellow? hmmm..okay okay, I'm heading to my mother country Philippines for three weeks in August for my mom and dad's 25th anniversary, where they are having a second wedding. We're all very excited, and with our family's recent purchase of a new Nikon DSLR (yippee)...blogging from the Philippines will not be impossible! All my closest friends will be there as well, so, yes, I am so excited!

Anyways, this is the outfit I wore to buy cinema tickets for 'Abraham Lincoln - Vampire Hunter', and 'The Dark Knight Rises'. Yes! two movies in one week, one for a date with sisters, and one for my monthsary date (hihi), and since we won't be going to HK, we decided to pull out all the stops and bought Directors' Club tickets...I haven't been there before so I will be updating on instagram and facebook :) The shorts are a present from my mom, seriously, it's like wearing pajamas

This is an outfit I threw on for my part time, hence the title. The tie-dye wrap skirt was a Thailand purchase some years ago, for me and my sisters (we all have one)! Just a summery, breezy outfit to match it

Anyways, Hong Kong is a no-go...Leon's visa has some complications, so we're gonna have to postpone that for later, but anyway, we already have something else in mind, it's too bad tho, I really wanted to go! But at least now I have all my money for a final shopping spree before the next destination I'm going to visit, hehe (I'm not telling now so I don't jinx it, maybe when I start packing again!)

Well, I don't know what I was thinking but I guess this day was 'look like a lemon/orange sherbet' day! Nothing much going on except summer, which I am enjoying by swimming, movies and lounging around...have you noticed how much tanned I've become? Well, it was recently my daddy's birthday and we celebrated with a fun family day in China (there will be pictures of this soon）

Oh, Leon and I have finally decided on the date for our HK trip - we are going there for the main purpose of watching The Dark Knight Rises in IMAX, if you could believe! But I will have a chance to visit H&M, Forever 21 and Cotton On as well! I'm so excited, I'm trying to lessen my spending till then (which is hard, haha!)

The look today is a mix of pastel and galaxy print! There's nothing really to explain about this outfit today except that I had no reason to dress up, but I did! I don't know, there's something gratifying about seeing people stare at you, wondering where you're going, and inside you know you're not really going anywhere...just to your part-time job or to grab a coffee, or even do groceries! This was for my part-time (which, seriously, does not require this fanciness)

Anyways, I would like you lovelies to officially meet my glitter oxfords from Stradivarius. They were marked down 70% when I bought them, and I wear them almost everyday, but the first and last time I showed them on this blog was in February! Alright, gather round my lovely ladies, I've got a hair dilemma! I want something to happen to my hair and I sort of want it ASAP, and the new style I'm vying for is 'ombre' hair!

I've been wanting to do something with my hair for a while now but they always fell through - I've wanted blue highlights, stick-straight hair with blunt bangs, dreadlocks (don't ask!), and strawberry blond curls - yes, I feel hair-frustrated! I dream about a new WTF hairstyle every week

Now I want ombre hair before my last, self-imposed summer holiday is over..but I'm not sure if I should. Nothing crazy (though they are tempting) like blue dip-dye or rainbow hues, just maybe brown dipped into dark blond? What are your thoughts? I am doing this maybe next week, haha!

One reason I am so nervous is because I don't have a good history with new hairstyles, here's a look I did last year, where the hairdresser butchered my hair first, straightened it for a day, and left it a mess - all for a haircut with bangs (yes, shiver, sweeties! I still shiver when I see this)

Another post today lovelies! This is what I wore on a much-needed date with Leon few days ago (taking a little ode to 4th of July). Remember my favorite spot? Well, it's my favorite for a reason...this is one of our go-to spots for dates. We grabbed some snacks at Lord Stow's (which is a must-try in Macao), where I ended up choosing my usual blueberry yogurt with honey, and he chose two cakes - seriously! - the Mississippi Mud cake and a blueberry cheesecake, and then we just walked, talking for a few hours, then having dinner at NgaTim Cafe again. I haven't been this giddy about him since Taiwan - we really needed this quality time.

I chose to wear my mint skort with a sheer/velvet crop top, some comfy wedges, and my USA briefcase. Oh, before the night ended I made a major blunder on the crossing! I tripped big time - in the middle of the street - causing a car to stop! Whew...falling is not the hard part, standing up again, and acting like nothing happened, is! I had to refrain from looking at the driver in the car, I don't know if he was going to shout at me or laugh -
