Because Wonderland is taken, and Macao is sort of like the city version of the middle of nowhere. Seriously, sometimes I feel like it is just too small, there's almost no place to go and nothing much to see...I wish I could travel somewhere, which I might, but I'm not sure about it yet.

Anyways - enough ranting - this outfit was inspired, I think, from Alice, in Alice in wonderland. I mean, that's what it reminds me of...I love dressing in whimsy little outfits! The denim moto jacket is something I thrifted in Red Market, as well as the basic grey tee inside.

I love Alice in Wonderland, both the cartoon version and Tim Burton's version. There's just something so oddly endearing about how wrong the colors look and how everything is too big or too small or oddly misshapen in the movies...and I think it's so different from other cartoons...definitely a fave. And Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter (Red Queen!!!) are in the T.B. version, which makes me love it moreeeeee!


I love this ruffle skirt; one of the things my sister and I traded on. She didn't like the skirt so she traded it with me for a dress that fitted me wrong - happy us!

I'm walking on sunshine...or at least in it with these super yellow tights! This was my second and last outfit for the shoot with Carla Violet, and, weirdly enough, it was almost identical to Carla's outfit. We even had a shot together, which I might post here, but I have to ask it from her first :)- update - see it here

Oh yeah, I hate Macao's weather! After giving us the beautiful sun back for some of these photos and my cutesy post, once again it is freezing. Especially where I work. But I have to brave it...nonetheless, Spring, please come soon!


And that concludes our latest shoot..nothing else happened during my day-off, except that I got so scared of the rumours about acid rain due to the accident in Japan that I sort of ran home, and missed all my other errands when it started to drizzle. My condolences to Japan by the way. No one deserves that kind of tragedy. Anyway, that's it for this post...thank you, dears, for the comments and support so far!

I think I already mentioned in another post that Carls and I were gonna be shooting some pics for our respective blogs...now here it is!

This particular shoot was not that intense, as Carla had classes afterwards. We did not bring a lot of outfits this time - just one for her and two for me (I had my day-off). Anyways, this first outfit revolved around my new skirt which I thrifted in the Philippines while I was there. Honestly, I have never worn so much brown in one outfit! And it worked! Who says we can't wear too matchy matchy stuff anyway??


So, more info about the skirt; I saw, I bought, I loved?? Well there's not much to say anyway, except that I should've bought more!!! We took the photos in a quiet street behind this big library...Carla has posed here before. It's my first time, though.

Oh yeah, this cardigan I'm wearing used to be a blouse...I just snipped, snipped, snipped and voila! I like it this way of course!
